I'm so glad I found this. I've been dealing with severe back and nerve pain for almost two years. I've been using ice packs and always wind up having to be tethered to wherever I was sitting but with this, I can move around and still reap the benefits of ice therapy. I put both packs in at a time and can usually get about 2 hours of consistent chill out of it. The band has a good grip so no worries about it falling off and can be thrown in the wash without a problem (just make sure you put it in a small delicate washables bag so it doesn't adhere to other articles of clothing).

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Love the fact it has a belt extension! I'm a big girl, and suffering from back issues/injury. I needed something a bit bigger than the average person size and this was perfect. Plus, it comes with 2 hot/cold packs! You can keep them both cold and switch out when one is no longer cold, or one for heat and one for cold. It's comfortable, flexible, and not irritating to my skin like plastic ones. Definitely would buy again!

My wife injured her lower back and so I bought this to help her. We're about 5 days in and she loves it. She said "This is the best thing you've ever bought for me.". I said "Better than your wedding ring?". She said "not quite as good as that, but close". 😂😂

I really like this ice pack for my back. It is well made and fits perfectly. It has an extra strap for someone larger, which I don’t need but someone else in my family might use it. It stays on securely and is great for sitting or walking around. Also, there are two ice packs which is really nice to always have a back up. I deducted one star only because the ice pack is pretty firm when it is removed from the freezer so that when I want to play down it is very hard to lay on. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a good back ice pack.

Love this! I have a pinched nerve in my lower back. Doctor said keep my back iced. I was using ziploc bags with ice in them, and they leaked everywhere. This is very comfortable and neat. They come with 2 ice packs to be able to wear one while the other is in the freezer.

This product is really fantastic. My husband pulled a muscle and triggered sciatic nerve. Out of all the rx's he was given, this actually helped him the most! He's 6' and 200 lbs. The velcro wrapped around him easily. I tried it on myself (i'm a medium. woman size) and it fit me just fine too. I just wrapped it more than him, of course. There's and extra piece they send you, in case you require it to be even larger. They send 2 ice packs that are not stiff. Stiff would have killed my husband. They are gel so they are flexible. They go into a pouch sewn into the ice pack band. Well worth the money. I would have even spent more if i knew how good this thing works!

Very pleased with this ice pack. Comfortable and stays in place. Quite large and can be used on various parts of the body. Stays VERY cold for a long time. I haven't used it for heat but it's reasonable to believe it will perform equally well. I'm getting one for my wife. Also, it comes with two gel packs.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I decided on this one because of the size. I wasn't sure the others would fit and I liked that this one has an extender but I actually don't even need to use it, it fits fine without the extender.
