Well made and great for raising height. But it is too firm for tail bone pain. The bottom surface is no-slip so it stays on the chair, but the top surface is a little slick for my elderly mother. We'll have to return it, but if all you need is height, it's perfect for that.

I was skeptical about how comfortable this cushion would be. IF ONLY NO ONE COULD LIE!I must have received the “crap batch”! Because when I sit on it, it squishes down to an inch or less!!!It’s HORRIBLE!I read the reviews, they seemed great, but I searched the reviews for photos and videos and I should have known by the fact that no one had a photo or video of someone sitting on it that something was up. So here you go. I weigh 120 lbs, I’m 5’ 5” tall.Look for the good in everyone, everything! Life is too short to be scammed over a seat cushion!Unbelievable!

So I just got this. On the picture which advertises this. On the chair it looks so, so, this and firm...yet when it arrives it is rolled up. And when you cut back the plastic....it looks all wrinkly and HALF THE SIZE IN THE PICTURE! Its not stiff-firm.Just feels like a semi-firm pillowI bought this so my elderly family members could get up. Yet if this thing squishes down like a pillow. How can it help???So I don't know ...I purchased 2 of these.Don't want to send them back...but is there anything out there better? I'll come back and update.

My husband recently had a hip replacement revision. The therapist recommended a high cushion for extra height in the wheel chair or in a dining room chair. He has been using the 5" cushion for almost 2 months and it's just what he needed. It has not gone flat, but it has lost some firmness. He weighs around 180 lbs and is 6'2" tall. We have used it out in restuarants also. The cover has been washed a couple of times and it air dries nicely. I just ordered a second one to keep in the car for when we go out somewhere. Overall, this is a very helpful cushion and much better than the standard issue one that comes with a wheelchair.

It is exactly as described. However, I imagined that it would compress more than it does and it actually is too thick/high for my car seat. It seems like excellent quality though-just take into account that it will maintain its height.

Very comfortable. Felt like so thick. when I open the zip, the foam is set it 2 layers. So removed one and using it.Go for it.
