This is amazingly delicious and convenient. And, as one who does not care for onions (beyond perhaps a small amount of "onion powder") I'm very glad ONE of the varieties from this producer does not feature onions in its ingredients. All of the others in the variety pack do.UPDATE (4 Jan., '24): Latest package seems to have a fairly short expiration window. Not too bad, but less than three months (for six packages) seems shorter than similar products.

Good taste and good to flavor other dishes. Too thin to eat alone.

This is supposed to be dal makhani, but it sure isn't. It's bland, watery, and generally not great. It's edible if you add some red pepper and ground cumin, and maybe a bit of ginger.

6 pack is too many

This is a very tasty, savory, organic meal! I put it over a little organic brown rice (also on Amazon) for a perfect protein (beans & rice). -Makes a really good quick, healthy meal. It is very filling, tastes wonderful yet “clean”, not like a packaged food.

It had a thick layer of oil on top and was very greasy. I think they could leave out the oil and the other ingredients would be delicious. Oil is not needed to bring out the flavor profile.

These are saving my son from not getting at least one hot meal a day! He's a fan!!
