NISUN 9.5mm Optical Bay 2nd Hard Drive Caddy CD/DVD Drive Slot for SSD and HDD -Black

I'm writing this review after 1 week usage. It is very easy to install caddy. Fits perfectly in the 9.5mm cd/drive slot. Just follow the instructions. Although I struggled a little pushing the SSD in the caddy as it was tight, but it's ok because it ensures SSD won't get disconnected. Material used is aluminium and plastic. It durable.I will update in future if there is anything to share in long run usage. Hope this is helpfull. Thank You.

No brainer, worked fine and installation was easy without any difficulty. Quality was good. Comes with a screwdriver, which is sufficient to do the installation.

The plastic on the side is of really very cheap quality.Also, one can buy a similar caddy from a local vendor.

Do check for size of your optical drive if you are considering to buy it for laptop(I think there are 3 sizes available)i personally used it for hp 2303tx pavilion g6 laptop where i bought this bay and ssd (Kingston 250GB 2.5inch). In my case, i removed my optical drive and place regular hdd in this bay at the place of optical drive in order to use it as secondary drive for storage and ssd is placed at regular hard disk spot in order to use it as primary drive for storage.In this box, it has extra screws, screw driver, (SATA connector inside this bay). It works great.

Bought this caddy for my acer E5575G It fits perfectly without any issuesI was able to install an SSD and also tried HDD once both of them worked fine if you have an Acer E5575G This is the best caddy you can buy for your laptop it comes with a screwdriver and screws also the best part is my laptop supported boating from it, I was able to boot windows and Kali Linux from the caddy Also I was achieving full SATA 3 speeds from the ssd

Hi, I have got one and it corrupted my hard disk. I have tried all the switches present. So I have contacted seller by Amazon email and they have contacted me by Mobile. They agreed to provide a replacement unit and it arrived after three days. I have no hope this would work. But, this works just like that. I didn't even selected the HDD in disk manager. It was visible in my computer.Now I have a Samsung 860 Evo as my primary storage and my 1 tb HDD as secondary storage. Speed is insane. My system boots in just 3 secs and no problem with the caddySo for customers, please contact the seller by email if something went wrong. This actually a good product. If you are having any issue, then it might be a compatibility issue. (Please don't forget to format the old c drive which would be mapped with new drive letter) I got this from Nisun Inc and they responded my query the very next day. Easy to install, got connected to my hp laptop very easily. Size and alignment was perfect, build quality is also good, no parts missing, and all 4 screws and screwdriver was provided. Good at it's price, No need to buy expensive ones, this one gets the job done
