Bought for my 4 year old son for his birthday. The sand included far exceeds the quality of the brand name kinetic sand. This is a softer sand and not as hard as the brand name.

This is my 4th time purchasing a sand box kit for our grandchildren ages 2 1/2 and 6. We keep ours outside for them to play with on the picnic table as the kinetic sand does tend to migrate outside of the box. But my adult son keeps similar ones inside for the kids to play with at the kitchen counter, placed on top of a large rimmed cookie sheet or a large plastic tray. They have even taken theirs on an airplane and it kept the (then) 3 year old busy for hours.This particular kit has very sturdy vehicles and plastic sand molds, etc. Top notch kit. Our other kits have much smaller vehicles and I feel that this one is particularly great for toddler hands. We will most likely add more kinetic sand to this kit or at the very least have more available.Sand box kits at our house are probably among the top 10 toys that the kids enjoy and they really do spend hours at this. The latches on this kit keeping the top and bottom together are nice and sturdy also. The inside kits get stacked on top of the refrigerator and the outside ones stay out there year round on a shelf under the eaves. I love that the vehicles in this kit have moving parts and wheels that turn.A nice solid buy that should last for years. I can highly recommend this set.

Good little kit for kids to play

We really like these sensory bin sand kits at our house and have quite a few. This one was a great addition! All the little included accessories keep my kids nice and busy for a long time. It is very easy to clean up and store too thanks to the latching lid. No, it isn't kinetic sand quality but still relatively low mess and lots of fun!

The media could not be loaded. It was missing the colorful sand molds. The tops of the truck open up but the little men don't fit inside and neither do his Lego guys so it was frustrating for my son. I don't understand the purpose of having it open up if you can't put anyone inside. The crank was hard for him and even myself to move up and down. I wouldn't give this as a gift and it adds no value to his toy selections he actually doesn't even play with them.

This was a great little kit to let the kids have some sand time at the construction birthday party.

I think this is the perfect play set for kids who enjoy using their hands. All the items are well made look nice and play well together. The set comes with everything needed for a fun construction playtime. It’s a very good value that would make a wonderful gift for young kids.

This sand box with construction toys is great. We have our kids playing with this outside on their kid plastic table and it is great. This is entertainment for hours and it comes with a whole assortment of toys.
