Nostalgic-ArtRetro tin sign, 7.9" x 11.8", Milkshake – Gift idea for diner fans, made of metal, vintage design

I love strawberry milkshakes, so this sign is a right up my alley -- I only wish you could still buy a milkshake for 5 cents like you apparently could in the old days, according to this sign haha. I own a few different signs from the Nostalgic-Art Store now, and so far they've all been really nice. The metal is thin but easily holds its shape (it can be bent though, so handle with care) -- and unlike a lot of tin signs like this that are often totally flat, this line of retro signs have a stamped/relief/embossed design that creates a nice three-dimensional effect. The colors and details on the sign are great, and it's easy to hang up.

This is such a cute decoration! The metal isn’t floppy, and it feels like it’s pretty good quality. I love the artwork. It adds a nice touch to my kitchen!

I've reviewed a number of these signs from this company and I generally like them. Supposedly they are designed and manufactured in Germany, but I see a lot of attempts to hide Chinese made products, so I'm suspicious. What I don't like about this sign is the phrase "Original American milkshake." It's not something you'd ever see on a retro sign in the U.S. It is meaningless. This, at least, lends credence to the notion that it was designed abroad and intended for a non-American market. The coloring and raised relief of the sign are good. The rust around the edges looks fake up close because it has a shine. The gauge is not very thick but they've folded it over at the edges, and the relief gives the sign extra rigidity.

We added this to our past era Americana wall and it fits like a charm. The tin sign pokes out from the wall just a bit, instead of laying completely flat, which gives it dimension and catches the eye. The design and manufacturing of this sign was well done and I couldn't be more pleased. Very happy with the order.

This is a high quality tin sign. It is a size which will fit anywhere. Quality of the design is great. You can hang indoors or outdoors. It is a good affordable price. I collect tin signs. I really like this one. It would be a great gift or keep it for yourself. I am going to keep this one and put it in my man/woman cave.

I am very satisfied with this retro look for the price. The main picture, price, and lettering are stamped (indented) in relief, so the 3-D effect of raised lettering is way better than with flat-printed signs. The colors are vivid and appropriate for the period. It does have "Made in Germany" printed on one of the rear folds.

This is great for my kitchen. It is well made and looks vintage and the picture is well printed. It makes a great decoration.
