One of my very similar needles broke mid project, ugh, so I bought these to replace it. it broke right where the plastic cord meets the wooden needle. taped that needle back together to finish the row, but of course it's not the same smooth slide and obviously very fragile.so for the price of that one needle, i got this whole set. already a great value for the money. but plus these are better because the way the plastic is secured to the wood, it just might come loos, especially if youre a twisty turny bendy beginner like me. however, it easiky reattaches without a need for tape, or u can use 1 thin layer to secure it and not notice the difference slipping stiches on and off, etc. also the needle point is pointier than the other one i had, which is maybe a little more dangerous buy great for small loops. you basically get one in every half size from teeny tiny tinsy to jumbo.

The smaller sized needles have tips that are too thin for the eood to be stable. I broke off the tip on one of the points almost immediately. Im an old woman so its not like i was using too much pressure. It broke off like a pencil that has been over sharpened. But they are very nice otherwise. Smooth all over, some of them, well actually very few have size of the needle stamped on them. But actually to check your gauge you should make a small sample and measure it against what the pattern tells you is the needed gauge. But if u dont need the smaller sizes then this is a great set. No frills, just the kneedles in a cellophane bag.

Cord smells bad. Goes away after a few days. Smooth, yarn doesn't get caught on cable to needle transition

First shipment was not 40 inches, but the company replaced them with the right ones and I am happy with them.

I bought these because my aluminum circulars cord was so stiff I spent as much time fighting the stiff cord as I did knitting. These needles have the softest cords and are a dream to do magic loop with. They also came in 3 days. Very happy with them so far.
