Q: this fit on the normal ps vita? it protect the screen?

Although I use the newer model, the amount of space in the pouch would suggest older models would definitely fit just fine. Although it would protect the screen from scrapes and some bumps, it's not made of anything that would protect it from any serious bangs.

Yes it does, I own the 2014 version and it fits without too much moving about
