This AK 3116's SQ is comparable to my Fosi ZA3 at one third the price and with its dual chip design the headroom is not lacking with all but the most inefficient speakers. The features of this $47 ( sale price ) amp set it apart from all other inexpensive class D amps. It comes loaded with an excellent sounding internal DAC ( optical and USB inputs ), one pair of RCA inputs and one pair of RCA outputs plus bluetooth and a remote control. Considering price, features and sound quality there's no way this amp deserves less than 5 stars.

I tried this little amp out and found it to be very good. The Bluetooth worked well, I am in my late 70’s and realize my hearing is not what it used to be. I compared it to a NAD 7140 amplifier (40 + years old) and a monoprice hybrid type amp (about 4 years old) and could not tell much of a difference. My speakers were older jamo and energy book shelf speakers. I would not be concerned unless you are a purist, this little amp isa great buy.

I was looking for something to drive a spare set of speakers for my workshop, and this was just the ticket. Bluetooth pairing worked great, it has the power to drive my bookshelf speakers well, and the remote is convenient for use across the room. I'm quite happy with the sound quality from this, and expect to get a lot of use from it once the weather warms up and I'm spending more time working in the garage. It's a great value to run some existing speakers, rather than pushing a portable bluetooth speaker too far for sufficient volume.
