These canvas bags are perfectly fine for hauling around a few books or something, but I find them lacking when it comes to carrying groceries, which is what I purchased them for. one bag can fit little more than a single gallon of milk. I have to use so many bags at the grocery store. With that said, the bags are quite sturdy and high quality.

These bags are perfect! Thick black heavyweight canvas. I washed them in cold water in a delicates bag and also ran them through the dryer and they are still in top shape. These are exactly what I was looking for!

These tote bags are very well constructed. Make sure you notice these are a bit smaller than most totes, but that is exactly what I wanted.I'm using mine to handle bulky old school tire chains for my pickup. In the fall, I move them from the garage to a spot behind the seat, and back again in the spring when no longer needed. These bags seem more than up to the task. They should be able to handle your groceries with no problem.

The bags themselves are great quality and seem very sturdy. However, I did have problems getting heat transfer vinyl to stick to them after trying two different brands.
