Tianjin's famous Duliu vinegar was first created in the Ming Dynasty (14th century). It became famous in the imperial court of the Qing, China's last dynasty and is a favorite brand throughout China. Brewed from rice as well as peas, sorghum, and other grains it has a unique flavor that can add to Asian and other cuisines.

Excellent
I've been trying some different vinegars from China, and this may be my favorite so far. A little sweet, very savory, complex, almost a soy sauce flavor but not quite. I definitely recommend trying it.
