Zen Meditation Balls (RP Minis) Paperback – March 14, 2006

If you are, like me, someone who needs something to do with your hands, and; the traditional "worry balls" are just TOO DARN BIG, then; you will like these. They are SMALL - about 1-inch in diameter, and; they are perfect in this size. You can put them in your pants pocket, and; at this size, they don't make you look like an idiot walking around. And as my hands are not HUGE, they are small enough that it is nice to roll them around - without fear - of dropping them. PERFECT ALL AROUND for little old me!

Zen Meditation Balls (Miniature Editions)This set is definitely miniature. Yet, the book's exercise goals & descriptions definitely help to maximize the use of the health balls. You realize the ball size is 2ndary to technique. The small size is sufficient as one trains /develops better coordination. Definitely expect to get a larger set as you improve. The book offers insight into the history, styles, "correct" posture, etc.Balls size ~ 1.1" diameter (2.8cm) / Circumference ~ 3.6"If you have "larger" hands, I would get this set just for the book and also get a larger set, ~ 1.5" diameter (3.8 cm) or greater.

This is a nice, compact meditation ball set that comes with a set of smaller sized meditation balls, an informational booklet, and a storage sack. It is nicely packaged and would make a great gift. Since the balls are on the smaller size, it would be great for a child or an adult with small hands. I bought this for my 12 year old son who was interested in meditation balls. I would buy it again.

I've wanted a pair of mediation balls for quite some time and I am very pleased with the balls I received. I find them soothing to both spirit and aching arthritic hands. For my personal use I wish they were a bit smaller because I have such shot stubby fingers, but I think they're great.

I thought the miniature size might be too small but it helps to focus on smaller muscle development and stretching. Easier to carry. I was disappointed that one of the strings you pull to close the storage bag broke within 24 hours without using excessive force.

The balls were good, but the book didn't really have anything useful about the balls themselves... So not really as described. But W/E, what do you expect for the cost. It was a gift for a friend who has hand problems anyway, so the book on meditation wasn't really needed anyway.

these things are tiny, so much so that they are move novelty than anything. I would recommend getting the larger ones from like baoding balls website.

As a Kung-Fu Sifu receiving my training from the legendary Grandmaster, Wong Ark Yuey, of Southern Kung-Fu 5-Families/5-Animals style during the mid-to-late 60's and the early 70's. And, I have worked with the Zen Balls in the past. But, I found the information to be a very valuable resource book.

They are extremely small. At least half the size of my 30 mm ones. They must be something like 10-15 mm.So they are suitable for kids but not for adults. I have female small hands and still find these extremely small.However, I still feel some benefits from using them. They should however inform people of their size.

an excellent little kit, more of a gift really, the balls are a little small, but overall the book is great and the kit works

I got these to replace set I have mislaid. I love using these for meditation or just while watching tv.
