This candle lighter is superb. It is of great quality, light to hold, and super easy to use. For those people who have arthritis in their hands and find it difficult to use a regular lighter, this lighter is the solution. It is electronic and has a great on/off switch.

I purchased this as a replacement for my butane grill lighters. It is not hard to find the fuel, but this item only needs to be recharged. I really like the LED charge indicators. I know when it it time to give it a charge. I highly recommend this for lighting grills and gas stoves. I works very well.

Cool light. no flame. push up toggle switch (black slide) on front, then press round button. sort of a sci-fi looking charge at end.Best part is that it charges w/USB; no batteries, no refills.NOTE: be careful when you pick up and have END w/light AWAY from you. I picked it up holding the lighter part in may hand......uh....nice little jab.UPDATE: i actually bought a second, it's so nice. But had issue with one that stopped working. Customer service was great - no hassle at all; it was replaced.Very cool lighter.

We didn't expect to like this product as much as we do. I bought it as backup for a balky outdoor grill, but we moved it to the kitchen to use with our gas range within a week. We've been using it daily for a couple months now. It's quiet; it lights reliably; it holds a charge for a long time; it's beautiful and it comes beautifully packaged. Nicely done from design through execution and delivery.

I love how easy it is to light candles, and the long reach gets into tall hurricane style glass lamps. The one slight thing is that it feels a little wiggly. The two sections are very solid and it feels like I have to treat it gently, despite looking sturdy.

I guess the concept is clever: an electric jolt to light the fire (candles, barbecues, fireplaces, etc.). And then the device is recharged through a USB port (computer, phone, etc.). But where's the USB cable? I've tried all of the on-hand cables and they don't fit. (Like a lot of folks, I buy stuff on-line. Convenient! But I am increasingly irritated that so many things -- 30%? -- arrive broken or incomplete.) I don't see in the product description that a cable is included -- and the instructions on the package are miniscule -- virtually unreadable.

I have tried multiple versions of these Tesla lighters this one by far is the best. I like the long reach and very slim design too I use it in backpacking, camping as one of my many survival fire starting methods. However, it's only been a couple months since I got it and hopefully it continues to hold up. Since it mostly stays in my survival bag except for occasional taking it out to test it, I can't say it's truly a test of daily use ...If I had a couple of them I would use one in everyday use just to see how well it does hold up...So far it's a keeper!
