TED Direct-Fit Catalytic Converter Fits: 2005-2015 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L

This catalytic convertor is same as carb complaint from Carb complaint states........YET..........the weld shield is the only damn difference. THEY PUT OUT THE SAME EMISSIONS ........I HAVE TESTED IT AT THE SHOP AND THROWN THE SENSOR IN THE TAIL PIPE........ CA NY and other states just want the big money for the scam that it is..........

It fit fine, works good. I would buy it again. The hardware included worked well except the rear mid flange gasket was wrong. What was sent would just fall inside the pipe. What is needed is the green gasket Felpro 61039. The front spring bolts may need nuts also if the welded-on nuts on the manifold are rusted away.

Dont meets emission test

Fit like OEM on my 2009 Tacoma 2.7L i4 manual, extended cab with ~6 ft bed. Has "Made in Canada" stamped on it in several places, and came as all one assembly (no center clamp as shown in the picture). Included all fasteners and gaskets as shown in the product image, but used a different aftermarket rear gasket (connection to the muffler). I will update when/if this product fails (installed May 11th, 2020).Update: Failed sometime in April of 2022. The failure was the front catalytic converter’s internals coming loose (rattling) and causing a check engine light to pop (for emissions). So, it lasted almost two years (23 months) which means ~$70 a year, versus paying for OEM (should last about 8-10 years for ~$1100) for $110-$137 a year. In other words, I may buy it again, or I may just pay for OEM so I don’t have to replace it so much——still mulling it over.

Well the picture of the product shows it in two pieces and a pipe clamp and I received it in one solid piece was a little bummed about it but everything looked to a exact fit but had some major problems the flange for the donut gasket for the manifold is to deep doesn't seal up the whole set up seems to be a little short I would like to return it for a refund or a replacement but I don't have the time to wait for it I needed my truck for workso I had to cut it and use parts off the old exhaust system to make it fit properly without any leaks and my truck is a toyota tacoma 2.7L and the description said fits 2.7L engine

Fit exactly on my 2005 Pre Runner Tacoma 2.7 manual transmission. I had to delete my code P0420 with my tool scanner but I drove 400miles and code hasn’t come back! I will recommend to anyone. Only thing you will need to buy a separate gasket 61039.
