Roadworks Simulator (PC)

I have completed all the missions in The Roadworks Simulator and took notes of how things work, how things are lacking and the glitches I was finding. Someone needs to go back to the drawing board on some of these Missions.PROS1. The graphics are unbelievably smooth in fastest and fast modes.2. The showroom with the heavy equipment is downright awesome.3. The heavy equipment has exceptionally good detailing.4. The simulator becomes more challenging with each Mission completed, especially the last 3 missions, which I like.5. The simulator is educational and some missions are fun such as the jackhammer, excavator and truck. Mission 16 was awesome after taking 4 tries to figure it out.6. There are several short missions with just one or two task that makes it much more enjoyable.7. Don't have to watch a bunch of other junk before the actual game starts other then the letters UIG which is on only a couple of seconds.8. I was very happy with the way the Motor Grader, Jackhammer and Excavator worked though there were limitations.CONS1. Some missions with several tasks are much too long without the option of being able to save parts of them until they are done.2. Because some of these missions are so long they tend to become boring.3. The Road Paver, Road Roller and Street Sweeper acted really goofy making them hard to control.4. Glitches appear at times in some missions causing me to start over.5. Limited on the control of certain heavy equipment such as the excavator,6. There is a piece of heavy equipment pictured on the front cover that is not in the simulator. I hate deception.Though I liked playing this simulator for the most part, where I love some missions and didn't like other missions very well, I have to say "BUYER BEWARE" on this simulator unless you can figure out how to fix the issues in it. But, I love to figure out things and that is why I found The Roadworks Simulator appealing like I have with other simulators.

Bought this for my grandson. Should have read the reviews before buying. Game is about as useless as they come. All it has at the first level is a jackhammer that just makes noise - does not jackhammer anything - can't get past the first level as a result, and all higher levels are locked. Has no Help function that I could find. I should have returned this to Amazon immediately after installing the software, but I did not. My bad!! I'm not blaming Amazon, but they should consider removing this item for sale. It is just a waste of money for their customers.

This is a very good, well produced simulator game. You start out with a jackhammer and work your way up to the mighty machines. My four-year-old son is even starting to master the excavator! You start out with simple tasks such as hammering up pavement and rolling asphalt and then work your way up to clearing debris with a front-end loader. We are only two-hours into the game and are now loading gravel into a dump truck with an excavator and dumping the gravel at the work site. I would recommend this game for anyone who has an interest in heavy equipment. There are other simulator games available from this vendor and I am going to be checking them out as well.

Works on windows 8 but still don't no how to run the machiens

This came along with the other games that my brother got after christmas. This game has kept him busy like the others. He likes it because these games (including this one) actually teach a little about towing and operating on the road. It makes you feel as if you are actually working the machines. Another great game!

Boring. No free-pay mode.

the game has no real point just mission after mission and no type of free play mode to have fun on two thumbs down

Very little to do and does not have intuitive controls. Also, part of the gameplay screen is written in a foreign language - possibly German. Will not purchase another title by this publisher - in fact, I ordered 2 others by the same publisher as part of this order but neither of those worked, shame this one did as could have gotten a refund for this game too!

its not to bad but when you apply the brakes on some of the missions you have to hit the spacebar to bring it to a stop

Great little game. Loved playing this and getting to see how things are made. Couldn't stop playing the game. Soo addictive.

Never got it to do anything. Game came on and the could move the drill around but never get it to go into the ground. Waste of money.
