Firstly, this is an excellent product. I have a couple of these in different sizes. The shape and size of each fits neatly into side pockets of my back pack. The drinking spout is easy to use. Drinks do keep warm for many hours. BUT do not forget basic physics. If you do, the consequences can be a very painful experience for you and worse those around you - including fellow passengers on the Metro/Tube underground. In the confined space of the flask the hot coffee heats the air inside the flask, causing it to expand. Given the tight seals around the lid there is no where for the expanded air to go. The expanded hot air therefore forces the hot coffee up the drinking straw. As you open the drinking spout to drink your hot coffee, the expanded air forces the hot coffee up the straw which is then released in what can only be described as a volcano like stream, showering you and all those in the 'firing line' with a lap ( or face ) full of hot coffee. Therefore I strongly suggest that unless you wish to receive a mix of scorn and law suits from your fellow passengers do not over fill, allowing room for hot coffee to expand. It is for this reason I gave it a 1 star. It is in all other reasons a very good product.
