It took me some time to decide which Bluetooth speaker to buy as I’ve have had some mixed experiences in the past. The item arrived quickly and was well packaged.DesignThe speaker looks classy and has a more expensive look to it than other speakers in this price range. It has a premium feel to it and the build quality is good. The buttons are all on top and easy to use.ConnectionIt’s easy to set up either via Bluetooth or via AUX cable. The supplied cable was a little too short but this is more down to my needs than any fault & is easily rectified. The Bluetooth connection is stable and I’ve been able to walk a good distance away without losing connection. You can easily switch between Bluetooth & AUX by using the M button on the top of the speaker.SoundThe sound quality is impressive and is more than loud enough. I’ve played everything from Opera to Jazz to watching movies and have found it replicates the sound well.Battery lifeThe battery lasts for at twenty hours depending on how loud you play the music. It charges fairly quickly and you can plug it into a USB port to charge whilst listening. When connected to my iPhone it shows the battery level but not on other devices so can be a bit of guess work as to how much is left. Given how long it lasts it’s unlike you will suddenly run out. An app may be a useful future development.ConclusionI got the device on offer and so far I have no complaints. The device is well made, good battery life, excellent sound quality & a premium look. It’s not as lightweight as other speakers but still portable and the trade off between build quality, design & performance is worth it.I have no hesitation in recommending this Bluetooth speaker.

I'm somewhat of a fan of Bluetooth speakers it can be said. I saw this a few weeks ago listed on Amazon and it piqued my interest instantly!When I saw the available price I simply did not hesitate with the features it presented I think it's an absolute steal, in fact I feel a little like I should have been wearing a mask.Sound is really good for such a compact item. Plenty bass but in no way overwhelming as I feel some speakers are. I'd go as far to venture some speakers use too much bass to cover up for poor sound quality in other areas but not this little wild thing.Accepts my class 10 256gb memory card no issue on which I have stored flac files and plays excellently.Nice power up and down tones.Lovely blue led lights on buttons.Pairs very quickly with so far my Huawei P10 Pro Phone and Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 Tablet.Instruction and manual was somewhat underwhelming in that I could not ascertain if like other Neocore speakers it was waterproof or splashproof. However at the back of the unit is exposed slots for memory card and cables so I'm going to hazard a guess that it is not. Though this slightly disappointed me I do have another very similarly powered speaker which is in my bathroom so I can live with this.Very light. Even people with dexterity problems could use this without issue. I am one such individual having osteoarthritis and it caused me no stress.Early days but so far I am extremely pleased...I would strongly recommend you purchase if you are looking for powerful, light, attractive speaker with the ability to add a memory card too. I am so glad I did. Would make for an excellent gift.

Smart move to put such a high-capacity battery (4400mA/h) inside - I've had the unit 10 days now and it's been used daily, and no hint of needing a charge yet. When it does, an average phone charger took around 2 hours, and I expect you could run it off a power block easily if the party was under threat. ;-)I specifically use it as the external speaker unit for a kitchen tv (integrated speaker is tinny and weak), so it's connected via a3.5mm standard jack cable into its AUX socket. At power-on, the device auto-starts in bluetooth search mode, but a further button press shuttles you through to cabled mode (a ringtone confirms this) and away it goes. Quick and easy.The build quality is high, and although the top button panel is an attractive soft rubber compound I suspect that it will be a magnet to fingerprints and grease build up, and - especially if left in bright light - may after some months degenerate and become sticky. Learning from past experience with other products, I've left on the protective strip for kitchen use, but if it happens then that's a user defect at my end and not an intrinsic failing of this product.The bluetooth paired really easily, which for most users will be important, although because I use bluetooth less than the AUX cable option, I don't know how much that will put a bigger drain on the battery. But then again with the big cell in this unit, that may not be an issue either. That battery was a big plus point in my choosing this device.However, I wanted sound quality too, and this one seems to be loud and clear. For my tv it's more than fine. The online assurances of deep bass had me less sure - and my more expensive speaker equivalents are certainly better - so at this price it's more of a boom because of the depth of the box perhaps, than true audiophile low frequency. But at under thirty quid if you complain, then that's you, not the product. I got what I expected; and if you do want deep bass, then pair it up (cabled in series) with a bass bin - works beautifully.All told, in a crowded market, at the budget price here, this is a serious contender.

You can't beat this speaker for value for money, sound quality and a pleasingly stylish aesthetic. It's simplicity itself to use and comfortably filled a large room with great sound quality that didn't distort when raised to full volume. Small and unobtrusive, it's portable and easy on the eye. An excellent product.
