I bought these Walco knives to replace Wusthof ones. These Walco knives are less expensive and cut through meat more easily. The knife has a heavy, quality feel when held in the hand. The handle is made of plastic that will not break or splinter. I do wash these knives in the dishwasher and have had no problems with them wearing out.

I was handed this knife at a steak house, It felt so good in my hand that I googled if before my meal was served. After cutting my steak with it, I ordered a set before I left the restaurant. After the set arrived at my home, I ordered another set for Christmas gifts.
