In a world of a million shades of cream and 50 different paint cans labeled "white," I understand that sometimes, "white" on a label doesn't mean 100% pure white. However, I also know that when something needs to be white, it really needs to be be WHITE.I ordered a set of these tier curtains for the small window in our front door. The interior of our house is painted with shades of gray, with white trim. When I ordered these, I specifically searched for curtains that were WHITE, since our color scheme is on the cooler side (as opposed to warm tones), and to match the trim/moldings around the entryway.When I got this order, I excitedly opened the package, only to be REALLY disappointed at how yellow these curtains were. I held them up to the white lights in our house, stlil yellow. The "white" curtains are a DEFINITE linen color, nothing even close to white. It was really annoying to find how off these were, because it's a complete misrepresentation, and such a waste of time.I left 2 stars for the curtains themselves. Aside from the bad coloring, the curtains were cute and not the worst quality, given the price.If you're looking for WHITE curtains, DON'T GET THESE!If my review has helped you in any way, please let me know, or hit "Yes" under this review. Great quality, actually linen material, perfect level of opaqueness for dealing with awful sun, very glad I bought this one! Buy this if you're dealing with brutal sun like us! "White" is like a natural linen color, more off white or slightly tan than bright white. It's just what we wanted.Our kitchen window is terrible in winter -- the sun is unobstructed and absolutely brutal and goes right in your eyes for like 5 hours through the late morning into afternoon. It's so bad that we couldn't cook or clean or do anything. I was honestly cramming an old cardboard box in the window just to get some relief, then I taped a dish towel to the wall, and then we were like wait, let's buy a small curtain and a spring-loaded curtain rod! Duh. Originally I bought some super cheap sheer white curtain and it didn't do anything. It was "faux linen" and was basically like 99% transparent and horrible looking. I returned it and found this one but was nervous. But I'm glad to report that this curtain is basically perfect. It perfectly blocks the worst of the sun but definitely lets a little light through and disperses it so it never hurts your eyes. It has a cute pattern on the edge that I didn't see when I bought it (see pics) and looks very nice. The rod I bought is just the Amazon Basics one, brushed nickel to match our kitchen faucet. I steamed this curtain out of the package to remove a few wrinkles, but other than that it's high quality, low maintenance and has totally changedoour kitchen window for the better. I absolutely recommend this! Spend a few more dollars than the super cheap pieces of garbage here on Amazon -- you'll be happy. Be sure to measure your window to get the right size.By the way I don't get anything for writing this review. I bought this because I needed a curtain and paid full price. I like writing reviews and am just trying to be helpful!

I purchased 3 pairs of these curtains for my basement windows. They are a perfect fit...I could adjust the height by placement of spring tension rods. So easy and so lovely. They allow the light into the basement without allowing passers by to see in.

One of the tiers was two pieces of fabric sewn together at the top where it was doubled over. That was the only panel that was sewn that way and I didn’t actually notice until I opened the seam to modify it. It wasn’t noticeable until then. Any type of curtain, valance or tier of this size should be one continuous piece of fabric, not two. That was a little annoying, since the seam now shows due to the top being undone, but I will find another use for that one panel other than being used as a tier, as I have ordered extra since. Just look for this issue if you are ordering any, if it will be of concern.There is also an issue with color, some panels are white and some are slightly yellowed. Again, it’s not too noticeable, unless you’re really looking. Just so people know what they are getting.Otherwise, I really do like these. I like the French country/shabby chic/coastal/farmhouse look, and these aren’t too structured, which is perfect. I also like the way they filter the light without blocking it out. They cannot be seen through also. They are also very airy and light, both in appearance and weight, so can be used with a light rod. They are perfect in our long window in the eat in kitchen dining area.

These are great, but BEWARE, they hang wide/ horizontally! I first ordered the 30x24 version, because I needed something 30" long. But the place for the curtain rod is on the 30" side, so they are only 24" long. Gladly, the company let me return them and I ordered the 30x36" which fits perfect for my window. Color is as expected and quality is good.

if you order ivory be prepared for linen beige. I would have reordered in white with hopes for ivory but another customer said white was yellowish. I bought 100% linen material in an ivory color (they do make linen in ivory) and made my own. Gave them 2 stars because the manufacturers are evidently color blind.

These are well made from good quality material. Believe the description that says the white is not a pure white. It is more like eggshell or ivory. These also come in a color they call ivory, but that color looks darker to me, more like champagne or cream. The curtains only get four stars because the fabric puckers around the decorative eyelets around the borders.

Received in great condition and on time.
