AUXMART Cargo Cover Retractable Security Shade Fit for Subaru Forester 2014-2018 （fit Automatic Rear Gate Only）

This cover is easy to install, but it doesn't fit very well. One of the latches was also missing a screw. I'm hoping this was simply a defective unit. I'll post an update once I get a replacement. Pictures 1-3.UPDATE: the replacement had all the pieces and was still easy to install, but it fit just as poorly. The left latch scraped the wall as I pulled the cover back into place, and the right latch barely held on. No amount of wiggling or reseating the bar had any effect. Pictures 4&5.

This was a Christmas gift that I received for my 2016 Subaru Forester. It has the automatic rear gate, so I thought this one would work. However, once I attempted to install it, the ends that are supposed to reach into the inserts on the vehicle to keep the cover extended do not fit appropriately. It seems that their width is shorter than the width of the vehicle by about 0.5 inches. Thus the cargo cover won't stay open. If I pull it out at an angle, it will kind of stay in place, but then once I'm driving and hit a bump, it easily becomes dislodged and the cover will self-retract. I'm very disappointed in this product. It was a waste of money. Additionally, the return window expired before I could try to return it or exchange it, so now I'm stuck with a cargo cover that doesn't work.

This came with no instructions. So if you are a 1st time user you may have to get some YouTube help . Worst part is this doesn't fit a Subaru Forester 2014. I asked before buying and I was told it fits. Well yes it goes in but the end part doesn't catch. So where is the privacy, the whole purpose of buying it. I'm very dissatisfied with this product. I still need a trunk cover. I'm stuck with something I can't use.

It didn’t fit it’s not the right size or it’s not like the picture . 20 18 car I need one for 2018 . It came not like the picture

Took all of about 2 minutes to unbox and install and so far no issues taking it off or putting it back on to adjust for different cargo sizes. Construction doesn't seem bad either. I'll keep an eye on it and will write a follow-up review in a few more months.

I received item, opened the box and removed it from plastic wrapper, extended it, and that’s where it stayed! Would not recoil back. Honestly, it looked cheaply built, pass on this item, save yourself the aggravation of it not working and having to rebox it up and sending it back.

In the agency they asked me for $400 for this part.I gabe a try to this one fo the economic proce.No difference with the original one. Fix perfectly well in the Forester XT 2014.

I just bought my new 2018 Santa Fe sport only to realize this piece was absent from the car. This piece fit in perfectly and looks great! Way cheaper than some of the other options I was looking at and matches the interior.
