Verso by Kettler Lean-to-Steer Scooter

We have 3 of thes scooters and am about to order my 4th for my littlest. My 60lb, 7yo has been riding his hard almost daily for the last 4 years, and just the other day a wheel fell off. He got so much wear out of this scooter. It had a good life, and my husband still might be able to fix it since all the major parts are still in great shape. I’ve been so impressed with how durable and indestructible these scooters are.The lean to turning is tricky at first, but all of my kids have mastered it, and it keeps them from turning too sharply and falling off. Plus it helps their balance a lot and leaning to turn is a valuable skill to master for bike riding later. Because of these scooters, my kids do it intuitively. Can’t praise these scooters enough!

my 2 year old son was riding this item and it broke at the front end by vertical pipe...amazon says it is too late to return it ...7 months old...If this item can't hold a 2 year old boy's weight ...well...

The scooter is not very sturdy and broke within my grandson using it twice. This product did not meet my expectation as described in the product review. I would not recommend this scooter to others.

After 2 months was broken.

I have the Verso Scooter and Mini Micro Kick Scooter. I was advised by a nice boutique toy store that all of his kids preferred this scooter due to the better stability it offered. They saw fewer falls and injuries over the years with Verso. Needless to say I have 2 kids and bought 2 different scooters. Both of my kids prefer the Verso over the Mini Micro Kick and fight over it. My 2 neighbors have MicroKicks and their kids also prefer our Verso. Not sure why but proof is in the pudding for me.

My 3 year old loves this scooter! We are so happy we bought this particular one. I love the easy adjustment for the handle and it is a very smooth ride. I would highly recommend it!
