So far this brush has worked OK and over time it might actually work better, the scraper (which has a squared off edge) in particular. But for any grill that has slightly rounded but wider grates, the scraper does not do a good job of getting the gunk off, even after a letting it cook down for a while; it leaves food residue along the edges of each grate. The brush isn't much better; they are too sparse / spread too far apart and thus also end up missing stuff / requiring extra passes to do the same job a standard old-school weber grill brush would do (which apparently they don't make 'em anymore).I still prefer this to the weird, "steel wool nightmares" that are plastered all over Amazon's search results, but it's still average at best. Maybe once more broken in I will like it more (will update if that ends up being the case). But if you can find a better / more traditional one with a narrower scraper and more dense bristles at Home Depot or similar might be worth the car trip if nearby.

I purchased this item after reading many reviews, and looking at different types of brushes for my grill. The last brush that I had was plastic, and the metal scraper melted off, along with many of the bristles coming out. I refused to get another plastic brush after that. This brush is constructed out of wood, and even allows for the bristles to be replaced if they fall off. The metal scraper is quite large, and screwed on to the wood. The grip is a nice touch. The only down side to the design of this brush is that the head and the scraper are flat, so getting a good amount of the brush on the grill surface can be difficult depending on your grill.I have used this brush a few times since purchasing it, and I am very pleased with the overall function and quality of this brush. I do have one major complaint, though. I have a charcoal kettle grill (which is round) and a round grilling surface. When scraping the grill top, I cannot get the edges of the grill surface clean because the scraping piece is too long, and getting the edges is impossible.Beyond that one minor complaint, this is a good brush. Even knowing that I can't clean the edges of my grill surface, I would still buy this brush again.

I only give it 4 out of 5 because I have not actually used it yet but right out of the box I was extremely impressed for the price. Under $11 with Prime, arrived next day at my house with 2-day shipping out of NJ. The rubber grip has indentations for your fingers and the weight of the brush makes it feel like it's not going to break at any moment. The heads when worn out are removable with 4 screws and replaceable. Brush does not come with replacement heads but can be bought I believe. Bottle opener on the opposite end is a plus and considering the price I could pay to buy one, wear it out and replace it a season later, this seems like it was a good investment. For the price you really can't go wrong. Bristles aren't extremely close or concentrated but seem rigid enough to work on tough grill surfaces. I will be using it on stainless steel. It recommends not to use it on porcelain-enameled surfaces because it will scratch that surfacing off. Also has a blade on the head to work on tough grease.Seriously, why not?

This is a pretty good BBQ brush. It is wide and can clean a wide area with one stroke, which is what I was looking for. It was hard to tell if it was stainless steel or brass bristles (mine was Stainless), so I was a bit disappointed that it was not brass which is supposed to last longer. The bottle opener is a nice touch and the weight is good so those are pluses. There is a LARGE warning sticker on the back of the brush that warns you not to eat the bristles that can fall of it while cleaning that is a LARGE pain to remove. So far it is holding up well so overall I am happy with the purchase. We all have high expectations for our products but seriously, the thing is cheap, just buy it.

I had to buy another one of these because I lost my first in a recent move. I had the first one for over a year and had zero problems with it. Loved the way it feels in the hand, very sturdy and has a good grip. But as I've seen on some of the other reviews, the bristles have started to come out after a little more than a month of use. I did have some come out the first time I used it, but I considered it a fluke (or at least hoped so). I haven't called Amazon yet, but the site is telling me I lost the ability to return on 8/14. I'll still call and see what they can do, but I'm very unhappy with this grill brush. Not sure what happened with the quality in the past year, but it has definitely gone downhill.

The handle is plenty long enough. Replaceable brush head is a nice feature. I wish there were more bristles; it is not dense enough for my likings. Overall well made, I just wish there were more wire bristles.

It does a good job at cleaning the grill.
