Can be Quite Handy in Tight Spots
I wouldn't throw out your wingnuts just yet, but, there are situations where these can be quite handy. Case in point, I had a contractor that cut into a 2" X 12" base plate to install a dryer vent. Long after he had gone, I realized a circuit was dead. After suspecting & finding the cause (yes, he cut the circuit in the wall), I was able to use a set of these connectors to splice the circuit within the wall. It was a challenge performing the "surgery" within the wall with one hand (meaning cutting back the sheathing). However, without this connector, the alternative would have been to open up the wall and use conventional wire nuts. There are other situations when installing a new switch or fixture that uses stranded wire where these connectors won't work. It appears to be based on the thickness of the strands; thinner strands just won't push in and in those cases, the trusty ole wire nuts continue to be your best friend.Regardless, the Wago connector is a good product to add to your electrical assortment.

These are faster and hold better than scotch locks.
I have used these and the 4 hole model extensively in changing flourescent lights to LED cutting out the old ballasts. I loaned my work pouch with them and the wire stripper cutters I carry in it. They rewired 14 fixtures in about 30 min and thought the connectors were better than sliced bread.

Easy to work with plus It will hold #22 to #12 wire securely.
Solid copper wire works best, but I used stranded wire and it worked fine. I've have used the 4 conductor WAGO the most.

Good quality, small, dependable
These are very nice. Much better than the tradional wire nuts. They are also smaller than other push in connectors ive used before.Note: if you need to remove a wire pull on it, as you turn counter clockwise. For some reason this isnt documented anywhere. It's also a good idea to use one more port than you need - if you have 3 wires, then use a 4 port. That way down the road if you need to add a wire you dont have to redo everything.

Great product.
I like using these. Makes for a neat, compact installation when you have a few wires or pigtails to connect. Smaller than the larger wire nuts which would normally be used. Fast and secure.

Works as advertised. No crimping or twisting for solid wire.
Works well as long as you follow instructions, but you do have to strip the ends of the wire before inserting. No crimping or twisting for solid wire.

Works great.
Goodbye annoying wire nuts. Hello simpler, easier, and much smaller solution! These Wago connectors do a wonderful job of allowing one to connect multiple wires together or add a pigtail. They form a very sturdy connection and are easy to use.

Works.... Fine? Still worse than a proper application of wire nuts.
I highly recommend to make sure that the wires are twisted together by grabbing the two wires at least 3cm off from the wire ends BEFORE, Not AFTER applying these push in connectors to prevent the connectors eventually having loose connection/overheated over time under tension.Notice how the wires must be twisted before pushing the ends in. You should never twist them as you would with wire nuts AFTER applying them. Also it is important to make sure the tips of the wires you push in are straight, not bent or nicked.
