Worked perfectly with a Cisco switch
So I just upgraded my internet to 2Gig up/down but my internal home network was stuck at 1G uplink to the router that also had a 2 10G ports. I have a cisco switch as my main switch aggregate to the router but didn't have anything to take that next step to getting higher speeds between the switch and router. I got my hands on a cisco 10g module for my switch and then bought this 10G copper sfp to get me there. This SFP didn't even cause the cisco switch to throw an error that it wasn't a supported transceiver. It worked perfectly and now you can see the beautiful throughput I'm getting now from my PC. Highly recommend if you're upgrading and you have SFP+ ports to work with.

Great price and fast delivery.
It says it works with Unifi, but it doesn't push the through put as stated on the UNIFI UDM Pro. The Unifi UDM Pro shows it a 10gig link. Know for facts the fiber hand router is pushing 8gigs each way. Never have had issues with 10gtek products. I think it would work fine just not in the UNIFI port 10 for 8gig throughput.

Works absolutely great in my generic YuanLey Network Switch
Using this with a Chinese made YuanLey 2.5Gbe Network Switch with 2x SFP+ ports, and these work perfectly; providing RJ45 10Gbe. Have it connected up to my NAS devices with native 10GBe and I am getting full 10 gigabit network transfer speeds.Keep in mind, ALL SFP+ to RJ45 transceivers get extremely hot when under operation. These are no exception, but they are absolutely rated to operate 24/7 under those temperatures. The construction of these transceivers are amazing and extremely sturdy.

Keeps the Network Running Smoothly
This 10Gtek SFP adapter works exactly as expected. It’s reliable, well-built, and provides a solid connection for my setup. A great solution for adding copper connectivity to an SFP port without any hassle!

Reliable Performance, But Runs Warm
This SFP+ transceiver works flawlessly and provides stable 10GbE connectivity. The build quality is solid, and it fits perfectly into my switch. Like most SFP+ copper modules, it does run warm, but that’s expected for this type of hardware. If you need a high-quality SFP+ to RJ-45 module, this one delivers.

More reliable than unifi
Somehow these work better than the unifi ones in unifi switches.

Not stable with TP-Link TL-SG2210P - update
Got these based on the reviews on Amazon and title included wide compatibility which listed TP-Link. They were easy to fit into my TL-SG2210P and after a while (maybe 10 minutes which seems a long time) they were recognized. They initially worked well - one servicing a specific VLan and one servicing a trunk port. But after a few days they stopped working. Tried changing ethernet cables around, powering switch off and on. They would periodically start to work but it was too unreliable in this particular switch so I have removed them.Price was good. Delivery was good, initial working was good just not reliable in my set up unfortunately. Gave 3 stars since they sort of work so maybe in different switch they would be as good as the reviews suggest but for me they were a fail.UPDATE: after updating switch firmwares the adapters have been very stable and reliable and seem to work with this switch as originally expected. For this reason it was reasonable to change rating to 5

To hot, defective after less than a year.
Bought 3 of these, within a year they've all become unstable and unusable. They run at about 1G never at 10G.They get incredibly hot to a point where they can damage equipment. They started causing problems and saturating my network. The moment the connection was removed from this SFP port the network was fine. This wasn't because of a node on the network but the defective SFP module. Spend the extra $150 on a good brand name SFP module.
