I bought the 2lb bag of the vanilla bean flavor of this protein because the larger 4.25lb version is available at my local Costco. I wanted to a smaller portion before I went all in on the bigger one.As far as taste goes, it is actually very pleasant. Most vanilla flavors are extremely bland, but the AFTERTASTE, is actually quite vanilla ice cream reminiscent. That being said, no vanilla protein is going to taste like a vanilla milkshake except syntha6, but syntha6 is loaded with crap ingredients.Mix ability was excellent, no clumps or solids after shaking for approximately 30 seconds with only water.As far as the negative reviews on here go. A punctured bag is by no means acceptable. I received one in good condition with no punctures. Plenty of people on here mention that the bag is not resealable, mine sealed no problem. To those that have had problems resealing their bags I would assume it would be because of one of two problems. One could be that there was a manufacturing defect, which would mean it wasn’t their fault to begin with. Two would be that the powder has made its way into the tracks of the sealing portion which would not allow good contact. The parts that seal together are not engaged prior to opening the bag, the bag is initially sealed with a removable pull tab.As far as taste, mixability, and quality of ingredients I would definitely recommend this protein powder to others. Especially if you don’t want any artificial sweeteners.

Best tasting Peanut Butter Chocolate flavor out there. The vanilla & chocolate are also great. Mixes super well, no clumps. I drink it with almond milk, whole milk or mixed in with nonfat greek yogurt and it’s amazing every time. I actually look forward to eating this every day. I wish they would release more flavors!

No complaints..unlike the fact it doesn't have all the extra ingredients, and it taste great. A little trick that to blend any protein powder. DONT USE A SHAKER BOTTLE. I've been using a portable blender, I'm using the blendjet that works great, it charges with a usb c and it's not that much bigger than a Shaker bottle. It never leaves any clumps!

Best protein powder I ever used, it doesn't give me a bloating feeling, my stomach is happy , I purchased the vanilla flavor , it mixes very well no clumps. I have been using it for over 6 months.

Ascent is always my choice in protein powder. Mixes well in water. Tastes great. No gastro intestinal issues. Love vanilla flavor for yogurt and smoothies. Very expensive purchase. Twice as much as the chocolate I buy at Costco. But could not find it there or in the store so paid the price for vanilla.

I’ve tried a ton of protein powders and this is my favorite. Best quality and taste, and the price is great too. I use it to make protein smoothies, and add Greek non fat yogurt. Makes it easy to hit my protein targets. Also love that it comes in a bag instead of a large, bulky tub. Last time I traveled I was able to pop it in my carry on. Only complaint is that the bag does not reseal tightly.

I have used this Powder for the last few years. I love the flavors and I have never experienced any gut issues. I use this mostly in my smoothies to get a good lunch during the work week to help fuel for afternoon workouts.Vanilla is my first choice but the Chocolate is great as well. I highly recommend!

Tastes great and has a very clean ingredient list. It’s hard to find a protein powder that is this reasonably priced that doesn’t include a lot of cheap artificial ingredients. Makes for a good dose of protein with no side effects like indigestion.
