Not every hero wears a cape
I picked these up as replacements for the carabiners at my local gym, where I kept running into the issue of them going missing. Honestly, I’m still not sure how they disappear, but I got tired of trying to use the cable machine only to find the carabiner was gone. These have a 400+ lb capacity, so they’re more than sturdy enough for any cable machine at the gym. The 3.15" size is perfect—don’t go smaller. You might also consider trying the 4” if you need something a little larger. I highly recommend keeping a pack of these in your gym bag if you run into this issue.

Very solid for the price
These are very solid, and a good value. I tried several varieties of small carabiners and these were the best low-cost variety. I use them for theater tech to hang relatively light objects (< 50lb). Not suitable for human load or climbing!
