Value and does the job

I like the bright color of both the lock and the reminder cable as both a deterrent and so you don't forget to remove it. Seems like good quality and I appreciate the small pouch it comes with. I also like the small light that comes on the key if you need to take it off during nighttime. It can be a bit tricky to get these locks onto the disc, but it just takes practice and is not unique to this disc lock.

I was looking for a bit of extra safety for my 2011 Kawasaki ZX10R when I leave it unattended in a parking lot or on the street. This lock was just what the doctor ordered. When positioned correctly on your brake rotor (be sure to check the diameter of the holes in your rotor so you order the correct pin size), the lock goes on smoothly with one hand simply by pressing the lock keyhole area down like a button. The thin arm on the back faces inward and presents a nearly impossible target to cut through because of this. The lock is also of petite size and can easily fit in the palm of your hand, and likewise in the pocket of your riding jacket. While sturdy and presenting a bit of heft, it isn't too heavy or bulky to just dump in your pocket while you're riding. Perfect.Update (7/26/13) - I've had a couple inquiries as to whether or not this lock will fit certain makes/models of motorcycle. The throat on the Trimax is 6mm wide. Most late model front brake rotor discs are a nominal 5mm thick so the Trimax should slip over the disc easily enough. My understanding is that brake disc dimensions are fairly well standardized on popular late-model motorcycles (i.e. bikes from Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki, Honda and others, however, some rear discs may be thicker than front discs even on the same motorcycle); so as long as you don't have some exotic rare bike from ancient antiquity, or some advanced sci-fi concept bike from DARPA, this lock is likely to fit (again, be sure to check the diameter of the holes in your rotor so you order the correct pin size).
