WYZM 4PCS F72T12/cw/ho LED Replacement 6ft,R17D 6 Feet 30Watt Fluorescent Replacement for F72T12/CW/HO (4-Pack White)

I purchased a set of four of these lights to replace four F72T12/CW/HO florescent tubes for a double sided church box type sign. These lights will fit any "72 inch" HO type fixture. I put the 72 inch in quotes because they don't measure exactly 72 inches which is standard and is normal. The exact dimensions are listed in their specifications. Just know that they fit a standard 6 foot fixture. In my particular fixture, they are a very tight fit and required a bit of flexing to get inserted because the end connectors did not have enough room to completely retract. I had a helper insert the end in place while I gently flexed the plastic LED replacement tube. Once in place they're easily rotated in order direct the light. Immediately after ordering these lights I learned that special replacement tubes are available for double sided signs and was concerned that they would not provide even lighting. I really didn't need to worry as they work great and provide excellent illumination for both sides of the sign. I aimed the top two tubes down and the bottom two were aimed up. I am very happy with the results. I will add a dusk to dawn sensor this week which should be an easy job. The sign did require rewiring which is super easy. The wiring info included was very clear and helpful. Just cut all the ballast wires and run the black wire to either side and the white to the other. It is not necessary to use both connectors on each side of the HO type connectors. Just provide one hot wire to each side and one common wire to the other side. Again the info provided clearly shows the proper wiring.

It was nice and bright when it is working. Now I have 3 dead tubes and 1 half working.

Exact replacement. Switching out original f72t12 HO fluorescent and read some reviews saying size was different. These were the exact same size as the fluorescent tubes I was removing. Very easy to rewire fixtures if you are somewhat handy. Ballast is a thing of the past. Replaced 8 double fixtures and every light worked correctly. All you will need is some plastic wire nuts, cutters and wire strippers. I was very glad I could use the existing fixtures. Lights even rotate so you can direct the brightness. Took out 80W fluorescent...these are 30W and brighter.

These lights are expensive to replace, we needed them for our canopy and they arrived on time, but upon installation, (using a RENTED man lift) one of them did not work. Had to get the man lift again to get the light tube that did not work out. Upon inspection, the manufacturer had failed to solder one side of the wires together. I do hope to hear from the seller soon regarding manufacturer's failure. (could change my rating) We need to replace several more, but not sure that this is the seller or manufacturer we would purchase from.

2 bulbs quit working within a week. Don't waste your money!

Almost twice the brightness of fluorescent. Love that the tube rotates to direct the light. The required modifications to remove the ballast aren't difficult for those who know basic electric. If you want to upgrade to LED, this is a great option.
