Cheap, simple, works as expected.

As the title says, I got two of these (one as a replacement for the first.) Both of them failed in the same way: turned on, moved the mouse briefly, turned off, and then did not turn on again. This even happened after attempting to toggle the power button. I had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to move at all. Troubleshooting didn't work.Also, you should be aware that if you work at a company with really good IT/security (generally speaking, ones that are mature enough to have an insider threat program), this CAN be detected. There are programs that can detect when a user moves their mouse without clicking, and in some organizations, window switches may be logged. There are programs that can take screenshots of your screen every X seconds without you ever being made aware of it. The employer is (usually) unlikely to do anything about it in most cases as long as you get your work done and don't have any targets on your back, but don't delude yourself into thinking that these things are truly undetectable. Most organizations are not mature enough to detect them, it is true, but you might work at an exception. Just a word of caution.

I bought this to help me stay active on Teams during long downloads or when stepping away briefly from my desk — and it definitely does the trick. Setup is super simple: just plug it in and hit the power button. No software needed, which is a huge plus.The device runs quietly enough, and it works with both my wireless and wired mice without any issues. It’s compact, portable, and easy to stash in a drawer or bag if needed.My only gripe — and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 — is that positioning the mouse just right on the turntable can be a bit finicky. If it’s even slightly off, the jiggler won’t move the mouse correctly. Once set up properly though, it works like a charm.Definitely worth the price if you need a low-effort solution to keep your computer from going idle.

I have a micromanager boss who insists that I must be online every second of the work day. They use Teams to monitor people. This mouse jiggler works wonders when I have to run some short errands or take my dogs for walks without causing Teams to go yellow and triggering the micromanager's fury. I wish I found this useful contraption sooner!

Make sure your sensor is on the circle, place it on a flat area, and you are good to go - literally. Sure it makes noise when it moves the cursor, but isn't the point that you have stepped away? It's not annoying even if you leave it on while you are working.
