Great product!
Great product. I have tried for 3 years to find the leak in my pond. This product fixed it! Thank you!

Never received
Never received the product although it was in transit. I don’t think it was amazons fault. I did end up getting reimbursed. On a side note, I did order some last year to plug a leak in my frog pond and it seemed to do the job.

Pleasantly surprised, one bag seemed to be enough
I evenly sprinkled one, 50 pound bag in a damaged live stock pond that had very deep cracks in the clay. I wasnt expecting it to work as well as it did. We had a hard rain the following day and as you can see it is holding water again. I didnt mix it tap ot or anything. Just sprinkled it evenly and more heavily in the cracks. Due to cost restrictions, I will be using a pure lumping clay kitty litter instead as it is the same thing and much cheaper, to seal the remaining areas that need to be sealed. This stuff DOES work, but its pricey. Our pond was completly dried out and really sad looking. Its about a 10 x 25 ft pond. If you can afford this stuff, definitely get it.

Repaired pond leak
I was happy that it fixed the leak in our pond and happy that it came in a bucket instead of a bag as it is much easier to store. last time I used it, it worked for a few years until I noticed the same location this spring. We have a lot of springs on our property and one turned out to be right next to the pond. You can try having it professionally repaired but this is relatively easy and just takes a little patience.

Great company- but the product did not work for me.
I was making a natural pond. Even following all the specifications, it did not work for me, even in a completely flat area, using at least what was called for, with my hard clay soil, mixing it in and compacting. I'm sure it works for some places, but it didn't work for me at ALL. The company was super fantastic and sweet, and I'd buy other things from them. Also, this product MAY WORK FOR SOME.

Gave a 5 star for customer support
Gave a 5 star for customer support and this really done the job. It came opened and reported it to customer service and gave me my money back... Wow ty for being awesome and making a great product. Our pond is new and just as soon as it would rise from the rain it would quickly go back down again because the back of the dam was leaking. This product took care of it within a couple of days. I would buy again if it wasn't so expensive. I've found that the co-op has it cheaper by 90. And for all those just building a pond get you some of this before the water and it will help a lot. Directions says to empty it 1st but that wasn't a option for us. So put it in the spots that was leaking in the water and took care of it with no trouble.

Worked like a charm
So, the Natural Waterscapes Granular Sodium Bentonite Clay for Pond Sealing has fixed my leaking pond! The leak was around the concrete drain. The leak was so bad there was a large cavity about four feet deep and 30 feet long running along the outside of the drainpipe. I dug out the area around the drain about a two foot cube, that was the beginning of the big cavity. I mixed the bentonite clay in with the dirt I had dug up and tamped in around the concrete drain. I then filled in the rest of the cavity with dirt from the farm. The pond filled up after several rains and has been at its normal level for two weeks. There is no discernible drop in the water level. For reference my pond is roughly 150 feet in diameter and 10 feet deep at the deepest point. I would recommend making sure you order enough as the one bucket barely did my project. I would say I removed 5-6 large wheelbarrows full of dirt from the leaking area and then mixed the clay in. If I had to remove anymore dirt I don't think one bucket of bentonite clay would have been enough.
