For better or worse, Pro Plus tablets have been on the market for decades. At the moment I can't get them from my supermarket as they've either stopped stocking them, or are temporarily out of them (I'm housebound and have to get everything via supermarket home delivery or Amazon).Caffeine tablets require a licence issued by the Department of Health, like any other medicinal product. The licence number for Pro Plus is PL 01074/0253 and the licence holder is GR Lane Health Products Ltd. The details on the two boxes delivered to me by Amazon today comply in every respect with the details I know to be genuine, right down to the batch number and expiry date on the last box from my supermarket. In other words, these ones on Amazon are genuine Pro Plus. It would take extraordinary resources to produce fakes in such detail.Pro Plus undoubtedly works, thought some tolerance to caffeine develops in most who have it regularly, as coffee or in tablet form. I only use it first thing in the morning when I have to be up and alert before breakfast. I'm over 70 and the most my system can take is 4½ tablets (225mg caffeine). More than this causes a racing heart (palpitations). When I've taken these before getting out of bed, I have decaf coffee with breakfast, so as not to overdose on caffeine.You cannot buy more than two boxes of Pro Plus at a time from Amazon, for the good reason that they don't want to encourage people to overdose or develop addiction, though most regular coffee, tea, or energy drink drinkers will have some mild dependence. If people really doubt that Pro Plus contains caffeine, they should try taking say 10. That would deliver 500mg caffeine, enough to be pretty unpleasant for most people. (I'm not trying to encourage anyone to take more than the stated dose).There are always some negative reviews on Amazon, regardless of the product concerned, because these are competitive markets. In the case of Pro Plus however, most such reviews are likely to have been posted by, or on behalf of, competitors.

These are really good. They keep you awake. I'm so awake by now. I could do crosswords, that's how awake I am. You want some, they make you awake. REALLY AWAKE! I'm so awake right now. Did I already say that? They are so cool, I can feel my heart pounding. Did you hear that? I heard a cat across the street purr. These are awesome, everything is in like, rainbow colours, and I can see sound. That clock is ticking SOOOOO loudly, what's wrong with it? Oh my got I'm so awake!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

These tablets are easy to swallow and have no nasty taste. Totally good value for money as cheaper on Amazon than in Boots. Feel these give me a wee boost of energy when I really need it - so great performance from them and me when I’ve taken one. They don’t have any negative effect on my sleep either!

A perfect solution to avoid nasty energy drinks that full of sugars and tourine etc. Also when on the road for long drive it keeps me awake and no need for frequent toilet. I just take two at a time with water and I’m sorted
