It is so nice to be able to control this machine directly via the Nanit app, and allow others to do the same. Our son is too small to be trained yet on ok to wake colors etc but we definitely foresee us using this when the time comes for him to be in his own bed so he knows when he can get out. The sound options are great and being able to control volume and color easily is wonderful. It’s not super bulky and fits well into our decor which I appreciate - so many of these are so ugly! The controls on the machine seem easier to me to use than the hatch - I could never get the hatch tapping right!

I was interested to see how this compares to the Hatch. Overall, I prefer the Nanit for a few reasons: 1) it’s smaller 2) it’s easier to turn on and off. I really dislike the touch navigation on the hatch. It’s not intuitive and frankly it’s annoying. I love that the Nanit has a real button to push 3) we are loving the morning lullaby. we turn it on to signal its morning for our little guy and we are also loving the sleepy lullaby to signal its nap time and bedtime before we turn the white noise on. In fact, we recorded the sounds on our phone so we could use them when we’re out of the house/ traveling. 4) the Hatch regularly disconnects from WiFi and it’s a pain to reconnect. This has yet to be a problem after using the Nanit for a month.

Absolutely love this light! I use it in my daughter’s nursery and it lights up her room perfectly for midnight diaper changes without being too bright. I usually use it in 50, but if I want the whole room lit up, I turn it too 100 and it’s like I have the ceiling lights on! Having the app to control the brightness and color is definitely a huge plus! Definitely worth it for the price!

I’ve been using this for about a month and I have no complaints. The app is very user friendly and has a lot of sound options. It also works with the Nanit app if you have the camera.

I ordered this on Amazon. Went to set it up just before putting my newborn to bed and I got an error message on the app saying “this device is registered to another user, please ask them to remove this device from their account or contact customer service”. WTH? Tried multiple times to make sure I didn’t do something wrong and lone and behold I kept receiving the same error message.Thought ok I’ll at least turn it on for the sound. NOPE. You have to be connected to wifi and their app to use this thing! They have total control of you with this through their app.What if you’re somewhere that doesn’t have good Wi-Fi? How do you turn this almost $100 sound machine on?! I was furious and planed on returning it but messaged their customer service to see what the story was with this. They had an auto response after I sent in an email saying they’d get back to me in 48 business hours.When they finally got back to me they said they would escalate this to their tech team. Another day goes by. Then I received and email saying it was fixed with this explanation : “sometimes the factory tests them out and they forget to remove them from their test account, and that’s what happened to my device” they apologized and said it was fixed.Too late. I do not want anything that I can only use with an app. I’m going back to Hatch. This company is controlling and shady. Don’t even waste your time.

Great sound machine, love the different colors, love that you can do preset scenes with a few taps and turn on and off from app. Don’t love the monitor functionality and needing to have the app open to hear.

I love this sound machine! We had another brand (same one that most fams seem to buy) and I was not a fan. The white noise setting didn’t seem to get loud enough, but this one does! I love that it stays on if our power goes out during storms. Also love that you can customize several settings and like through them manually by pushing a button on the machine — you don’t have to rely on your app all the time. Love!

This arrived really fast and was nicely packaged—feels like a high-quality product right out of the box.The app makes it super easy to control the sound and light (no need to sneak into the room!), and I love how customizable everything is. The white noise and soft light combo is really calming and make it easy and safe to step into a dark room.Setup was quick, the interface is simple, and everything just works. Overall, great addition to the nursery—we’re very happy with it so far.
