I’ve used this in France, UK and in Spain solely for devices that do not need a current converter (iPhone, iPad, Kindle) and it’s effective and a space saver since I don’t have to bring other plugs. I’ve had one for 3 yrs and it has held up and I’ve bought a secondary one.

Good charger for use in France and Italy. Should work well in other countries.

I’ve had this for a year. After Just returning from Italy with it, I had to read this rave review. I think the construction is durable. But if it were to fail, I would simply buy another one. I like it that much. Here are my reasons you want this.Reason one - because it’s a multi country adapter both in and out, you can take an outlet that already has a light plug into it, plug the adapter into the wall, and then plug the light into the adapter. See my photo of this in Italy. The result is that no matter what kind of power you’re looking at you can get the USB charging ports without losing an outlet. This is particularly nice for being able to keep things like your phone and watch right next to the bed, where there are often limited outlets.Reason two - In Italy there are frequently two problems with adapters. Some of the outlets have switches immediately next to the outlet and a normal adapter will prevent one of the switches from working. Because the southern European plugs extend out extra long on a very thin probe the adapter stands over switches of this tape. See my photo for an example.Reason three - This is another use for the same long extension plug in southern Europe. Many outlets come with a recessed round leading to the outlet. They are designed to take a perfectly round plug. Many adapters with that plug into them properly. But this one can reach in without a problem.Reason four - I tried using this plug for an airplane simply using the American style plug. It fell out multiple times, as many other chargers would do the same after being jostled around and plugged into a not very tight outlet. It occurred to me to shift to the UK style three prong plug which locks in very firmly. So this adapter will work on an airplane where an ordinary American adapter might fail.Reason five - The four USB outlets are great for today’s travel. I charge my watch, my phone, my Kindle, my iPad, and my headphones. These days almost all charging can be done from a USB. And this is allows me to charge almost everything at once.

Lightweight. Easy to use. Multiple USB ports for all the phones, tablets, fit bits, etc. that we travel with now.Bought 4 of them, 1 for each family member while traveling through Italy. Worked very well. Would give 5 stars, except you have to be careful how many items/cord positioning to make sure it doesn't fall out of the wall socket. But very pleased.

This cube works great. It's a little bulky compared to some others, but it is helpful that it is usable around the world. We only went to central Europe so we could have done with a less bulky one, but it will serve us well if we go anywhere else. The USB ports worked really well though they are not fast charge. Overall it's great if you are traveling to many places with different outlets. If you're only going to Europe, maybe choose a smaller one designed only for there.

This is one truly neat device. We are traveling. A week before we left I packed the travel bag I keep full of heavy adapters, plugs for European outlets, and plugs for the USB cords. A day later I realized that I needed another adapter and ordered this one from Amazon. It arrived the next day. It is now beside me in Seville and my travel bag with all its stuff is still in my suitcase. The device is very light. You can plug it into any outlet apparently in the world without special plugs or adapters. You just pick a slide for where you are, slide it down and on the opposite side appears a plug suitable for that country’s outlets. Once you plug in the device, you can then plug any kind of plug into its other side. The really wonderful feature of it is that there are 4 USB ports on the top. And the ports are illuminated by a blue light so that you can plug into them in the dark. So this one, very light little device does every thing I need and next time I travel abroad I can leave my travel bag of adapters and plugs at home.

Small and efficient, worked great during recent vacation in Europe. Also good looking!

I used the adapter on a trip to the Netherlands, Belgium, France, and the UK. So I used 3 different plug settings. The adapter was pretty easy to use and did its job.
