I installed this hydraulic door closer on my front door. It looks great, easy to install and fits perfectly. The quality of this product is amazing. I like the performance of the hydraulic, smooth and no noice of any kind. Great value of your money. Definitely recommend it.

Simple, elegant design and relatively small. I installed it on the door to my garage, and it operates nicely. Installation was straightforward, with an easy to use template. Took me about a half hour, give or take. I'd consider it a good quality closer, with a nice amount of weight and what appear to be quality parts. Expect it to last for a long while.

I chose this automatic door closer because I wanted something to ensure that the door between my garage and my house closed without my having to request it of the person(s) using the door. The main reason for this was to ensure that any pests lurking in the garage were kept out.This is a nice heavy item that looks sharp while it does the job. The instructions for installation on either a right-or-left handled door, as the case may be, are detailed and clear, with templates provided for drilling the holes in the right places. It can be installed in three different configurations, as shown at the top of the instructions. For the first two, no additional parts are needed, but for the third, the so-called parallel installation, additional brackets must be ordered at additional cost. Frankly, I like that better than making everyone pay for an additional part that I suspect most won't use.After installation, take care to follow the safety instructions, checking the screws periodically and tightening them, if necessary, to ensure that this product does not loosen and pose a hazard to anyone using the door.Four rather than five stars because even though the product arrived shrink-wrapped, with unopened components, the two washers and the allen wrench shown in the product illustrations were missing. That wasn't a problem for me, since I always have plenty of extra parts lying around, but it might necessitate a trip to the hardware store for others. Would still recommend.

I installed this product on our front door. It was easy to install and it is working very nicely. No noise. Very good product for the price.

It's made wery well and sturdy (even feels heavy when you hold it in your hands). It does smooth soft closing - perfect for entry way door , especially if you have kids to keep house secured. Installation was quick and easy. We've used it for few weeks so far and quality is outstanding.

I was looking for a door closer to close the interior door that leads from my garage to my home. The door is a fire door and automatically closes, however it slams shut if there are open windows or if the garage door is open. I wanted something to prevent the door from slamming shut and this was it!Only took about 20 minutes to install this and then about 5 to 10 minutes to tinker with the adjustments that cause the door to close and latch securely without slamming. Also the price was reasonable compared to similar models. No complaints!

I bought it as a replacement for one on our medium weight door. The paper guides are superb and help you figure out where to drill the holes. Will certainly buy again if I need for other doors.

I don't have enough room to mount it above the door and can't find a way to mount it differently.
