The POWO by Carlife dual battery isolator with digital display is easy toInstall and works great. The display is a little hard to see in bright light, but that is the nature of LED technology.The unit is installed in the back of my truck and connects the two batteries that power my winch, which has no connection to the truck's electrical system. The batteries are connected through the isolator to a battery charger powered by either a generator or the trucks 120v outlet in the bed. The system works great for light use, and will hopefully never get tested under heavy. (which would mean I am stuck up to my doors)

You will read reviews that it doesn’t shut off at exactly 12.8v, but it’s usually anything between 12.4v and 12.8v, which is enough to get your vehicle started. I have a spare battery in the back of my jeep and this is mounted just above it. I run a diesel heater off my spare battery, so when the spare gets depleted, it does in fact prevent the main battery from being affected. Overall a nice safeguard if you have a similar situation and need to ensure your vehicle can start after using devices for a prolonged period of time.

Good product for the money it works as stated

Internal relay and voltage indicator did not function when main battery voltage dropped very low, therefore the user can't toggle to manual mode to connect secondary battery. Consider using a manual switch and two volt gauges.

The media could not be loaded. If you're doing a secondary battery set up in your truck I would highly recommend you do your research, but this kit actually came with almost everything you need except refuses which I got separately other than that everything worked great is great value for the money and I would purchase it again.

First thing to know is that the control circuit for the whole thing is only rated to 80 amps as seen in the picture, second the terminals are covered in a rubbery gel due to poor construction that needs to be scraped off to get a solid connection and finally the housing is setup for fairly thin wires and wires that are meant to be at a 90° angle for some reason meaning if you need something to be inline you will have to cut the sides off. Unless you need this next day delivery like I did, I would recommend going with something better as it quality doesn't inspire confidence all though it does work.
