PoolRx+ Orange & White 5k-7.5k gallons

We've had pools for 5 years and this year has been the easiest for chemicals and cleaning with PoolRx. I was hopeful it would help as we have struggled with algae in the Texas heat. This has surpassed my expectation. The water is clear and clean for the past month with minimal chlorine - 1 regular chlorine tab a week for our 6,000 gallons. The Orange/white plastic ball sits in the skimmer, so easy to use. I did follow the directions and ran the sand filter on recirculate for awhile first, and then have been filtering/backwashing/rinsing as normal. Time will tell how long it lasts but based on others reviews it should last the season. I think it is worth what I paid for it, around $50. I would have already bought that much chlorine for shock based on last year. I will try to update at the end of the season with thoughts.

I have an 18x48 Coleman above ground pool with an Intex salt and sand pump. Added five 40 lb bags of salt and the orange Pool Rx in the skimmer for the pump. Pool has been up for two weeks with rainstorms and showers almost daily. Pool water is still clear as the day I filled it. Routine maintenance to remove bugs and leaves as well as vacuuming with an Intex vacuum. During the past few years, our pool has turned cloudy and/or green within a few weeks of setting up the pool due to a magnolia tree nearby and rain showers or storms May through July. So far, Pool Rx has kept me from having to use any chemicals.

This is magic in a box!! If you want to save money on chemicals and totally simplify caring for caring pool then this is just what you need. So easy to you and made very well.

Pump off all winter. Little sediment at bottom of pool but crystal clear! Great product. Worth the money

It works as advertised. I expected there to be more of it, but it worked well for how much there was. My husband said it was okay, but he probably wouldn't buy it again as there are cheaper options.

If you have a pool and are tired of being a slave to chemicals, battling algae in summertime, constant testing and running out of liquid chlorine, you need this product. Just do what it says and no more worries. I wouldn't have a pool without it and don't know how i survived before i found this magical product.

I heard good things about this product. Sad to say I did not get the desired results. $50 bucks could have been better spent elsewhere. I followed the directions. Is my pool is still green. :(
