I was very impressed in how accurate this device actually was and the fact that it showed me where the electrical is was God send so I didn’t have to put a screw into an electrical wire! I would highly recommend this for anybody whether you be inexperienced or highly experienced!

Arrived with almost dead battery. Save the instructions when you get this thing because the signals on the screen are not clear

Don’t buy!! I bought one and it doesn’t work at all and for the money it was worth I’m not even going to change it or bother doing it now I know better for next time. The score for this item is zero.

Eh, the readings are a bit wonky. I guess it gets the job done but not the easiest tool to use. The instruction manual is basically worthless.

Not sure why the glowing reviews on this item. The felt on the back doesn’t even come up higher than the battery cover so you’re just scrapping against the wall! We have textured walls and a 20yo Stanley just for wood that we’d take over this one any day of the week!Instructions say for textured walls to add a piece of cardboard underneath. Really! No! What a pain! Our walls aren’t that textured and we’ve never had an issue before.We could remove the battery cover but we’d like to buy a product that will last beyond a year. This nonexistent felt will be flat in no time, rendering it useless even on flat walls.We also don’t find it as accurate as our Stanley. And the BEEPS! Super issue with our dog who doesn’t raise his head at our Stanley. You don’t need to hear the beeps from across the house when you’re standing right in front of it!Pretty disappointed so we’ll be returning it!
