Great for hangry mid day meal
These are great for when you might be out and about, and dinner might be a bit far away, but someone is getting hangry :)Flavor wise, they are really good. No aftertastes or odd flavors, and just the right amount of sweetness.

Could be sweeter.
Decently filling and an okay strawberry taste, which can be hard to balance between tasting too artificial or even medicinal. This one is just right, even for pickier palates, though it tastes kinda weak. Would be better by upping the sweetness some and making it, well, more strawberry tasting, too. Filling, but best cold. Adults even can enjoy it for those who are older and in need of additional nutritional needs, which the calories and vitamins can help with.

Light and delicious
This is a very light and easy to drink smoothie. Of course, it’s sweet, but not overly so, and it has a delicious, natural strawberry flavor. Each serving contains 8g of protein, which is perfect for kids, along with other important nutrients like vitamins A, D, and E. Although the daily value percentages for these nutrients are on the lower side, this shake has been great as a quick grab-and-go breakfast replacement on several mornings. Currently priced at around $2.60 per serving, I think it’s a reasonable deal, especially considering today’s inflation.

A bit expensive
These come out to almost $4 a bottle, though they're loaded with tons of nutrients and good stuff. The flavor isn't anything to highlight, again ok strawberry (that's natural) flavor with these protein shakes, but the downside is quite a lot of calories, and only eight grams of protein. I'm sure this meets the needs of a growing body, though trying this as an adult I can't recommend it as there's plenty of alternative shake options that are cheaper and outright better.

much better in foods than on its own
My kiddo is allergic to dairy and absolutely tiny. I am always looking to get extra calories and protein into her, but doing so without dairy is tough. Unfortunately, she cannot tolerate drinking these as they have a weird consistency. She describes it as "water with stuff in it" which I didn't understand until I tried it myself. The best way I can describe it is to say that its thickness is similar to skim milk. And while there is not grit, it has an unusual and unsettling heaviness to it that doesn't seem to match the thinness of it. It's very strange. The strawberry flavor is tasty and we have long since accustomed to the pea protein taste, so that's no problem for us.We have previously tried both the vanilla and chocolate Kate Farms varieties and they have the same consistency struggles. We have found that these are best used as the liquid base for oatmeal or smoothies. We've also used them in muffins and pancakes in place of milk and they work great that way, too.I find the pricing on these to be ...opportunistic... and puts families with kiddos like mine in a difficult position. At around $3-4 per 8.45oz container, they are outlandishly and prohibitively priced.

A convenient meal replacement for families on the go
I'll start by reminding folks that these shakes are not meant to replace every meal for kids, but can be a good option on those days when you're already running behind and don't have time for the kids to eat a normal breakfast. The price seems a little high, but you're partially paying for convenience and again, this I'm assuming most won't be drinking these every day.Taste-wise, the shake reminds me of the milk at the end of a sweet, fruity cereal. It's a little thicker than milk, but less thick than a yogurt drink. I appreciate that this shake doesn't have any added artificial food coloring.

Great, except for the price
I've tried quite a few brands of these types of nutritional shakes. This one is just as good as any other. I didn't notice any chalky texture or strange aftertasteI do agree with other reviewers who say that the strawberry flavor isn't that strong. It's true that the flavor is very light in that respect, but I don't consider that a bad thing. And the shake itself tastes real, nothing artificial at all. It tastes good to me, and isn't too sweet. I could see any kid enjoying it, or at least not complaining about itBut the price is outrageous, I'm sorry to say. $43 for a case of 12? Yes, the ingredients are great, as is the nutrition/vitamin content, but there are so many options when buying shakes of this sort that this price tag, I feel, is just unreasonable

Uses Agave
There is an aftertaste. It's 250 calories and is a meal replacement. After opening, it's to be refrigerated. It says in a home setting, use within 4 days of opening and 24 hours if in a hospital. It also says it can be used for tube feedings. That's a real plus for kids struggling to take in nutrition. The texture kind of reminds me of ensure. It's sweet, but it's hard to notice the strawberry flavor. I think the slight aftertaste is because of the agave. It doesn't mention milk, but it gives me that same coating in my mouth that milk does.Overall, it seems to be a good meal replacement or addition for those who are struggling to take in food. It's 250mL (8.45 Fl oz) so not too much to drink in 1 go. The expiration date is written on the box and the carton. Mine is March 11, 2026, so I have quite some time (nearly a year)
