Flag Spreader for Indoor Flag

I liked this because it was very effective for the use. I was tired of seeing our beautiful American flag just lifeless in our checkpoint. Now it spread out and is on display and beautiful.

I from the days that the TV will play the national anthem at the end of the day! I was an Honor Member in the USAF, so of course I have learn to honor and respect it. This flag was well made at sells at a great price. Colors are bright and the material will stand for a great while. I placed in my Constitution Corner.

I have noticed that whenever there is an announcement from the White House or any government news conference how beautifully the flag is displayed and I wanted to be able to do that in my own home so I ordered this flag spreader. It makes my flag look great and a proud display of Old Glory in my apartment. The only caveat is that the pole I use is undersized for this item and it does not have a size adjustment which is why I only gave it a 4 star review. Still, I can manage to get the spreader to hang on the pole and make it work.

I love this product. I work at a naval base and when we would take group photos of the staff I would bring in the U.S. and Navy flags. They always looked flat so would place a coat hanger behind the flags to spread them out. Well it worked but it wasn't great by any means. Then Flag Spreaders come along and now I have better looking flag drop and have more flexibility in staging the flags for the photos.Great idea (sure beats the coat hanger option) and works great.Would recommend these to anyone who displays flags indoors or uses the flags for photo purposes for a better flag drop.

The clamp part for pole is not good. Ordered two spreaders, one did fit the flag pole, while attempting to clamp the second set it did not fit and as I tried it broke. Very cheap metal!

Used on two flags for display. Looks great. They were easy to install on standard wood pole.

Starting with hardware, why were there two brass screws enclosed with the packing? Also, you need to put assembly instructions in with the product packaging. Only when I went back to the photos on the Amazon purchase website was I then able to approximately understand assembly. Also, the holes were mismatched/misaligned at the top of the pole where the brass holder for the American Eagle ultimately attaches. I had to get out the drill to get the holes aligned. In the process of getting this issue fixed, I accidentally scratched the brass holder on which the Eagle screws on. For the gold tassel, contrary to what the Amazon website instructions state, you don't just "hang" the cord on the "O" ring. You need to thread the cord (in a doubled-up configuration) through the "O" ring. Accordingly, substitute a larger "O" ring hook for the little one you enclose with the hardware. Getting the tassel cord through the little "O" ring that comes with this kit takes some persuasion. Just shift to a larger hook.
