Good little Ariel.
Works very well for its size. I was pleasently suprised on both 2mtrs and 70cm bands SWR below 1:1.5 and 1:1.6 on PMR.Not the build quality of a diamond antenna but at half the cost I can live with that.

I have now ordered 3 of these antenna all from the same listing and they are all different and clearly not made by Nagoya. You can see they all came different lengths and the SWR is above 2:1 which will damage your radio. I’m sending these back and don’t recommend them at all.

Not a good quality item
Didn’t last long all plating came off in weeks then corrosion then the trap broke off making it useless.

Poor quality, Not for outdoor use
Neither half of the antenna survived the recent Irish weather, both started rusting after about a month but only very noticeably in the last few weeks, no clue what the material is but the lower half is non-magnetic, suggesting its stainless steel but then i dont understand how it could rust, the top half is magnetic so i would assume it was a very poor zinc coating applied to it.Overall all it receives and transmits as it should but the build quality really lets it down.Purchased 04/04/24.
