FibaFuse FDW9018-U 6" X 75' Paperless Drywall Repair, White

I love this fibafuse. Used it for a botched, too large hole, cut around an outlet in my DIY renovation project. I was able to patch right up close to the outlet, and smooth it out without the extra thickness that paper or mesh tape would have. I like that the drywall mud "infuses" the fibafuse. The wall looks great and you can't even tell I made a mistake there.

This is really good drywall tape. As others have mentioned, the mud gets adhered to both side of the tape and soaks in. It covered an expansion crack in my wall and highly doubt it will ever come back. Highly recommend ! Save yourself a hassle and spend a little more for this.

This stuff is a miracle product. Was reco'ed by a master plasterer and it is a DREAM to work with. It just melts into the joint compound, effortlessly. Will never go back to mesh again. Wondering if I can use the 2" size to tape new drywall seams. Seriously have told everyone with ears about this. It's awesome.

This is great stuff. I’ve been doing wall repair in an old house for 30+ years. I’ve used FibaFuse for taping joints and I’ve used 36-inch wide rolls to level out cracks on a plaster ceiling in a 13’ by 13’ room. It’s an excellent product that meets all my expectations.Be sure to wear gloves. It is fiberglass, after all!

the best quality, way better than paper....BUT...get ready for the ich. I wore gloves and still got it into my fingers. Wear gloves when sanding too...or YOU WILL REGRET IT.

Much easier to work with vs. Paper and lays much flatter compared to mesh. I still use paper for corners but that's it. Fibafuse is especially good for butt joints. Love this stuff.

I patched over a big hole in the wall with this stuff & some spackle. I filled in the space behind with crumpled paper for additional support & the whole project took less than 15 minutes. It's awesome! I'd recommend wearing gloves. The fiberglass will make your hands itch if you don't. It cut easy and was a great width for my project, so I'm glad I bought this wide roll. Can always cut smaller pieces if needed for other jobs.

I had a high stress location on a ceiling, where I’d cut v-notches in the butt joints but the sheets didn’t butt tight with the end result being a larger gap than I felt comfortable with for the standard width tape. I bought this for that wider location, but it’s super handy for various patches as well. I will never use paper or mesh again
